The first trick that you can do on the Chromebook is for the teachers since they have Chromebooks that are touchscreen. There is a way for someone to turn the touch sensor off on the Chromebook. The way that you do this is by pressing SEARCH + SHIFT + T. Another trick that you could do on the Chromebook is to change your window into a split screen you could either move it to the left or right. The way that you do this is by pressing ALT + [ to dock left, or ALT + ] to dock right. This next trick is for people that like to keep their privacy. With this next trick that you can do on the Chromebook it will lock your Chromebook without you having to close it or press the power button. You do this by pressing SEARCH + L. The last trick is on Google Docs. this trick allows you to see the word count on the whole document that you are in. You have to press Ctrl + Shift + C in order for it to come up. This is what it’s supposed to look like after you press these three buttons.

This tutorial will show people how to use screencastify. Screencastify is an extension that allows you to record your screen and your voice, if you have a mic plugged in. First you would have to download it from the Chrome Web Store. Now that you have it on your Chromebook you can start recording. You can do this by either pressing Alt+Shift+R or by going to the extension icon clicking on it and clicking record desktop.If you start recording by pressing Alt+Shift+R the picture down below will come up. To start recording you click on internal display and then share. Once you click share it will start counting down to 1 it will start recording. Then to stop recording you press the same buttons to start it. If you start recording by clicking on the extension icon then you see the image below and all you have to do is click on record desktop and it brings you to the page on the top. It all works the same so if you want to stop recording just press Alt+Shift+R.

Do you like giving advice, especially while proofreading? Well Google Docs has an amazing feature where you can add comments to text while you are proofreading. To add comments to text you have to do the following: Step 1: Get in a Google Docs either by making one or from someone sharing their doc with you. Step 2: Highlight the portion of text that you want to add a comment to as shown on the left. Step 3: Then right click on it. which This can be done by double clicking on the trackpad. Step 4: After that click on comment, and type away. If you would like to chat with someone while in a document do the following: Step 1: Start a document in Google Docs. Step 2: Share your document with the person that you want to proofread or look over your paper. TStep 3: While the person is in the doc click the chat button. Step 4: Type whatever you want and now you started a conversation in the chat.
